Below is the privacy policy for St. John’s Reformed Church (“we, us, our”) website. Through the use of www.stjohnsss.org, you are consenting to
the following data procedures as included in this Privacy Policy.

The purpose of this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to inform users (“you, your”) of this Site of the following:

This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected through our website or app and does not apply to information collected by unaffiliated or third-party sites, except as set forth below. This policy does not govern information or communication gathered via social media (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, etc.) or other similar sites. We will never sell, rent, nor disclose your personal information.
Data Collected by Our Website
We may collect several types of information from the you when using our Site, including information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, or any other information the Site collects that is defined as personal or personally identifiable information under an applicable law or that may otherwise be used to identify you (collectively, your "Personally Identifiable Information" or PII). We also may automatically collect information as you navigate the Site, including information such as usage details, IP addresses, location data, device identifiers, and information collected through the use of "cookies" (hereinafter further included in “PII”). You acknowledge that you may be asked to provide PII when registering for an event or completing on online form located on our Site.
Data Collected by Our Third-Party Payment Processor
The Site links to a third-party site (“Donation Processor”) for processing donations made by you to us. The Donation Processor collects your name, e-mail address, mailing address, donation amount, and credit card information. This information is securely processed by the Donation Processor and all of this information, except for credit card information, (hereinafter “Donation PII”) is securely provided to us.
How We Use Personal Data
PII collected on our Site will only be used for the purposes specified in the Privacy Policy or indicated on the relevant pages of our Site (e.g., event registration or similar, required follow-up contact, etc.) We will not use your data beyond what we disclose in this Privacy Policy.
We receive your Donation PII from the Donation Processor. We may store your Donation PII in a database to document your donation. This storage allows us the ability to assist with your questions about your transactions and giving history. We do not store credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, or CVV numbers on our servers/computer.
With respect to PII collected by our site, we may use this information for Site analytics. Additionally, to the extent you provide us with PII via a registration request or other form, we will only use your PII to the extent needed to complete and document such registration or to process such form.
Who We Share Personal Data With
We may disclose your PII and Donation PII to any member of our organization who reasonably needs to access such information to achieve the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.
Other Disclosures
We will not sell or share your PII or Donation PII with other third parties except in the following cases:
1. If the law requires it;
2. If it is required for any legal proceeding;
3. To prove or protect our legal rights; and
4. To third parties which may merge with us.
How Long We Store Personal Data
Your PII and Donation PII will be stored until the purpose the data was collected for has been achieved. You will be notified if your data is kept for longer than this period.
Personal Data Protection
While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that your PII and Donation PII is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The internet as a whole can be insecure at times, and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of data beyond what is reasonably practical.
Children
We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected PII from a child under 13 years of age, such PII will be deleted as soon as possible. If a child under 13 years of age has provided us with PII, his or her parent or guardian may contact our privacy officer.
Access, Modify, Delete or Challenge Data Collected
If you would like to know if we have collected your PII or Donation PII, how we have used your PII or Donation PI, if we have disclosed your PII or Donation PI (and to whom), or if you would like your PII or Donation PI to be deleted or modified in any way, contact office@stjohnsss.org.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect directly from you on our Site and which we receive from our Donation Processor. Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file stored on a user’s hard drive by a website. Its purpose is to collect data relating to the user’s browsing habits.
