Statement of Faith

-We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, author of all beauty, truth and goodness.

-We believe in Jesus Christ, His only son, who suffered and died on the cross, as an atoning sacrifice for sins, giving forgiveness and eternal life to all those who put their faith and trust in Him.

-We believe God raised Jesus from the dead and that His death and resurrection are the central events of history.

-We believe Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to God the Father but through Him.

-We believe in the third person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit, who baptizes, fills, instructs, counsels, comforts, convicts, purifies, exhorts, and strengthens all believers in accordance with God’s good will and purpose.

Next Steps

When you respond to the gospel and surrender your life to Jesus, everything changes.

Here are your next steps of faith:

Professing your Faith

When something positive happens, your first response is to tell others.  You declare your faith in Jesus by telling the story of your salvation. Most people begin by sharing their decision to follow Jesus with their family, friends, pastor, or minister.
See Romans 10:9-10, Mark 9:24, and John 9:25.

Join the Church
The church is a body of believers following Jesus together. Jesus designed it for every one of His followers to have a place to grow in what they believe, belong to a community of faith, and become more like Him.

If you are interested in joining St. John’s simply contact the church office and the pastor will set up a meeting to get better acquainted with you.  We also hold quarterly new member classes throughout the year which provide an opportunity to learn more about St. John’s and how you can become part of our growing faith community.
