Facilities
St. John’s Reformed Church is located at 4001 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA. The church has stood at this location for over 200 years. The main sanctuary is the heart of the building with seating capacity for approximately 300 on the main level and 100 in the balcony.
In addition to office space, the main floor hosts the church library.
There are also three Sunday School Classrooms (KidsTown, Noah’s Nursery Room, and the Jesus Room). Male and female restroom facilities are located in the main hall. In addition, children’s facilities are located in KidsTown and Noah’s Nursery.
In 2003, an elevator and ADA equipped restrooms were added to the East end of the building. The elevator provides access to the basement level where the Fellowship Hall is located. ADA equipped family restrooms are located on both the main level and basement level.
The Fellowship Hall is a multi-purpose room. It may be used as a large open space for dinners, large meetings, Second Sunday, etc. In addition, the room is equipped with dividers that allow it to be divided into two separate classrooms in addition to a small hall-type space. The church kitchen is located adjacent to the Fellowship Hall, and there is a small stage in the Fellowship Hall.
On the basement level beyond the Fellowship Hall are several classroom spaces. The church choir room is located in one room. The middle classroom hosts the Fuel Sunday school class. The final room is the D.O.G. (Disciples of God) Pen which is home of the youth group.
